Met up with Jieying and took this picture with the Monsters!!! Pardon how tired we look haha.

I love bread. That's all I can say. Hahaha.

Mussels :)

Salmon with Citrus Crust.

Grilled Pollock if I remember correctly.

Okay, bye!

Lover's Concerto

How gentle is the rain that falls softly on the meadow
Birds high up in the trees serenade the clouds with their melodies

Oh, see there beyond the hill, the bright colours of the rainbow.
Some magic from above made this day for us just to fall in love

Now I belong to you from this day until forever,
Just love me tenderly and I'll give to you every part of me.

Oh, don't ever make me cry through long lonely nights without love.
Be always true to me, keep this day in your heart eternally.
Some day we shall return to this place upon the meadow.
We'll walk out in the rain, see the birds above singing once again.

Oh, you hold me in your arms, and say once again you love me,
And if your love is true, everything will be just as wonderful.

You'll hold me in your arms, and say once again you love me,
And if your love is true, everything will be just as wonderful.

Foodie Day Out

My absolute favourite Marche Rosti with Chicken Cheese Sausage and Sour Cream!

Pot of Green Tea.

Amazing Gyoza.

The Star: Tonkotsu Ramen with an additional Egg.

The noodles were not too soft nor too hard, exactly how I requested (You could choose between soft, medium, or hard noodles). The texture of the ramen was marvellous, as was the taste of the broth. The pork was good by my standards, and the egg simply melted in my mouth in a delightful way. I absolutely loved this ramen, and I definitely will be back for more.

Statue of Van Gogh in Ion.

I was really impressed by this work of art and the meaning of it. Basically, I've come to the conclusion that this statue depicts life. It tears you apart.

Cold Stone Ice Cream.

Okay bye!

Sushi and the TV

Here's a video of Sushi barking at the Beverly Hills Chihuahua. Hahahaha. She was barking fervently whenever the Chihuahua appeared on the screen, and then remaining silent at the other scenes without any dogs.

Sushi + Haze

I was browsing through my phone the other day and stumbled upon this old picture.

This was when I first got Sushi.

And now look at her! She looks so different from when she was a puppy!

Doggy socks that my aunt bought from Thailand for Sushi.

Not only did Sushi refuse to wear them, she snatched one of them away and started gnawing possessively on it. We had a hard time getting it away from her gripping jaws. The one on the left is the one she chewed on, as compared to the one that she left untouched on the right. Haha.

"What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

- William Shakespeare
Sushi sniffing the rose. I took this shot because I thought it was super cute.

Finally, HAZE PREVENTION. Singapore is currently shrouded by unhealthy haze caused by forest fires in Sumatra and West Kalimantan. Most people have resorted to wearing N95 masks (Which are out of stock -.-) to protect themselves against the harmful particles in the air. I was lucky enough to receive a N95 mask from Jiaqi and a few flimsy surgical masks as well haha.

The haze yesterday was over PSI 400, well into the hazardous range. It's becoming a major cause of worry and disruption in Singaporeans' lives. I really hope something is done regarding this and that the haze will disperse soon.

Jiaqi and I looking retarded with our haze prevention gear.

Okay bye!

Badminton + Dinner + Movie

Sushi looking as extraordinarily cute as ever. That is her newest toy, the squeaky drumstick. But it lost its squeak because my dog likes to play rough -.-"'

Marble Slab Ice Cream. We had Butter Pecan and Rocher flavour. I prefer the Rocher flavour.

Went to watch the Li Ning Singapore Open 2013.

So, to escape the overflowing haze that somehow managed to enter the Indoor Stadium, we then headed to Paradise Dynasty.

Amazing handmade noodles with pork slices.

And the star attraction: Colourful Xiao Long Bao.

This was the first flavoured one that I ate. It was cheese flavoured. The cheese taste wasn't very strong until I got to the last bite, but nevertheless, I was amazed that there actually was the flavour of cheese in it.

Szechuan flavour that was my least favourite. The taste was too overpowering for my liking. But I took a photo of it anyway, because it was pink and I like pink hehe.

Took a picture of this because it highly resembled a turd. Oops :X

Large tub of popcorn and Mountain Dew to accompany us while we watched Man Of Steel.

Game Of Thrones

The song I play when I'm in the mood for some epic-ness.

Also, here is my favourite scene from Game Of Thrones. I absolutely love Daenerys Targaryen.

Happy Father's Day

Had an advanced Father's Day dinner on Friday night. We dined at a Thai restaurant with reasonably good food to celebrate the occasion.

Beef slices with Thai Kai Lan.

Cereal Chicken.

I've eaten Cereal Prawn all my life, but I've never heard of Cereal Chicken. We were curious and decided to order this dish. It was mildly spicy, and tasted pretty delicious! I devoured all the 'cereal'.

Seafood Tomyum Soup.

Completely ignored my allergy and indulged in seafood.

Dessert was Thai Red Ruby and Lychee Grass Jelly.

Next, we had a nice Father's Day breakfast.

Baker's Basket filled with a variety of bread, with an additional serving of sausages.

Ham and Cheese Croissant.

High Tea. Sushi, scallops and Bundaberg.

These humongous scallops were absolutely amazing. They were tasty, juicy and completely out of this world!   I know I have a seafood allergy, but oh man, this was heavenly.

Last but not least, Chicken Rice.

And a Happy Father's Day to all fathers out there!
You deserve a hundred, even thousand, times the love you have given to your children.

Thank you Daddy for giving me all the love I've had for these twenty years of my life. I love you.

ps* I won't be posting my father's pictures to protect his privacy.
